Description
In an innovative move to reduce reliance on single-use plastic bottles, Ibiza Town Hall has installed four public water fountains in the city.
The fountains provide free filtered drinking water and the initiative is a collaboration with Cleanwave.org, a Balearic-based non-profit collective that recognizes the urgent need to provide solutions to the growing problem of single-use plastic, replacing the mentality of 'throw away' for a more ecological and conscious 'reuse'.
You can find the public water fountains in Plaza de sa Graduada (near the new courts), in Plaza Julià Verderá (beginning of the Figueretes promenade), in the Parque de la Paz (in front of the Mercat Nou) and in the Parque de s'illa (near the Multicines).
