Associació d'Apicultors d'Eivissa

The Ibiza and Formentera Beekeepers Association was established in 1989. It was promoted by Dr. Javier Pablos and its main objective was the joint fight against Varroa destructor, one of the main parasites that decimate our bee colonies.

Since its constitution, different training courses have been carried out, both for beginners and for sympathizers, in order to educate the general population in the practice of beekeeping, and promote the integral development of beekeeping in all its aspects.

The Association has also participated in the different fairs that have been held both nationally and internationally.
