Description

The Land Bank project was created in 2011 by the APAEEF in order to encourage a return to the countryside. For this purpose, a database of abandoned farms has been created that are offered for organic farming through a land stewardship agreement.

The labor crisis caused by the pandemic undoubtedly contributed to an increase in land applicants, and even had to include cereals, fruit trees or livestock projects in the list.

The important thing is, that a land which has been worked, continues to be used and bears fruit, ensurng that Ibiza advances on its path towards food sovereignty.
